Erin Fairbanks B.Sc., D.Ch

Originally from Iroquois Falls, Ontario, Erin attended the University of Guelph and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours – Human Kinetics) in 1998. She completed her education at the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences where she obtained her Diploma of Chiropody in 2001.

Erin is a Chiropodist (Foot Specialist) and has been practicing since graduation in 2001. Chiropodists (pronounced ker rah po dist) are foot care professionals; they are trained to deal with the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of medical conditions of the feet. Erin Fairbanks, a registered Chiropodist, provides total foot care to citizens of the Southern Georgian Bay area. Advanced Foot & Orthotic Clinic is the first and only full time Chiropody clinic in the Southern Georgian Bay area. She was welcomed as a member of the Lifestyles team in May of 2003.

Erin is the owner and operator of Advanced Foot & Orthotic Clinic. Delighted to be a member of the family at Lifestyles Health & Wellness Centre, she has had the opportunity to meet and treat many members of the community.

A typical day will find Erin performing nail care and callus removal, prescribing and dispensing orthotics, providing diabetic foot care and performing nail surgery to remove ingrown toenails. Her main goal is to provide quality foot care and foot education to the Southern Georgian Bay area.

Settling in this area was always the goal of the Fairbanks family. Erin and her husband Mike moved to the area in 2003 anticipating a long and prosperous relationship with the community. Their son Ethan and daughter Lindsay have been their most recent additions to the family at Lifestyles Health & Wellness Centre. They are all excited about the opportunities and friendships to come.
